The Time Has Come

The blog has officially changed name, domain, and appearance! I began this blog as part of the “Science Vs. Pseudoscience” course I taught last fall, but since the end of the class I’ve written a lot more about science in general; many of my posts (especially since January) haven’t referenced the supposed theme of the blog at all. I also wanted a name that’s a little catchier and shorter than “Science Vs. Pseudoscience”, and after some thinking chose “Galileo’s Pendulum”. If you have the page bookmarked, please update your bookmarks to .

In terms of basic content, there won’t be much difference; you can expect to see posts pretty much about any scientific topic that catches my interest, with special emphasis on science education, scientific literacy, and of course pseudoscientific topics such as Creationism.

Over the next week or so, I will be working even harder to improve the blog, so if you like what you see, please help spread the word!
