Introduction to Science Vs. Pseudoscience: The Blog

Since this blog is new, it’s appropriate to write the usual lame “welcome!” and “what this blog is about” post. So, welcome!

What this blog is about: the authors are (or will be, once momentum is built) people from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, who have a shared interest in science, the communication of science to the general public, and the broad areas outside science that can be lumped together as “pseudoscience”. The immediate impetus for this blog is a class of the same name currently taught at Randolph-Macon College, although the idea has been kicked around for a while. I’m sure the blog will evolve over time, but expect posts on interesting science topics, commentary on pseudoscience, and a bit of humor here and there.

As the most senior student in said course, I consider it appropriate for me to be the first to officially comment on the blog, despite this comment including no legitimate contribution whatsoever. That’s all for now, folks.
