My blogging will be even more random than usual this week for a simple reason: I am performing in my college’s production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. This is my first stage performance since high school, and I am only one of two professors appearing on stage, so I guess I should take it somewhat seriously.
To keep you busy (in case you need more to read), here are some interesting links gleaned today:
- Can admitting you want to be a science writer hurt your other career plans? Personally, I hope not!
- This item is a few days old, but good news nevertheless: the Tennessee Senate has shelved the anti-science/anti-evolution bill I commented on before. Obviously, the fight is not over, since there are many other bills still out there — and the Tennessee bill is not yet dead. Back to the barricades, citizens!
